Project mάzoksi, collects and recreates Greek rebetika songs. Instigated by singer Zoe Katsilerou and composer, percussionist Eilon Morris, the project launched in June 2020 with Misirlou,  a folk song from the Eastern Mediterranean region, with origins in the Ottoman Empire. The earliest known recording of the song is a 1927 rebetiko/tsifteteli composition by Theodotos (“Tetos”) Demetriades.

Το πρότζεκτ mάzoksi, συλλέγει και αναδημιουργεί ρεμπέτικα τραγούδια. Με πρωτοβουλία της τραγουδίστριας Ζωή Κατσιλέρου και του συνθέτη και κρουστού Ειλόν Μόρρις, το εγχείρημα ξεκίνησε τον Ιούνιο του 2020 με την Μισιρλού ώς πρώτη τους δημιουργία, τραγούδι με ρίζες απο περιοχές της ανατολικής Μεσογείου και την Οθωμανική αυτοκρατορία.
